This Mod expands the intaractions that the dwarfs can make with ancient dwarven knowledge and holds, featuring:
– Hold Exploration: The possibility to explore dwarven holds (starting from dig level 2) to look for things that could have been overlooked during restoration and expansion (secret treasures, workshops, Goblins nests, and much more). Every hold dig level has a different risk level and equally abundants rewards.
– A Research Facility:, buildable (through decision) in your capital province (must be an hold), that let you periodically gain ancient dwarven knowledge related events. Can be built only on an already explored dig level. Every explored dig level allows an expansion in the research facility. Higher levels of research facility can unlock powerful (but balanced) abilities which use Ancient dwarven knowledge.
– 40+ new events, 3 new buildings and some monuments.
Ai is able to use everything.
Some Holds have uniques event chains unlocked by exploration and developed by the research facility.
Currently having unique events: Amldihr (level 11, must be your capital), Er-Natvir (level 3-6)
This mod is compatible with everything: i tried it with homebrew, all doge’s anbennar and nearly all expansion and flavor pack you can find. I also tried it with bitbucket from 24/04/2023 and it works just fine.
No file was overwritten in making this mod
It still works in 1.35.
– Is this mod save game compatible?
– Yes and No, you will be able to use exploration and research facility without problems but you will not be able to build monuments and they are a good 20% of the mod as they are integrated in some event chains.
English is not my main language so there could be some mistakes.
