BR Class 66 Pack
LEGACY MOD – USING QUICKMOD SYSTEM AND IS NO LONGER MAINTAINED. A REWORK IS IN PROGRESS BUT CURRENTLY SHELVED FOR LACK OF MOTIVATION
please note coupling is a bit odd on this loco due to limitations with the quickmod system (either that or my inexperience with setting up locos with the quickmod system). Occasionally the loco might couple up incorrectly and requires re-placing the loco and pushing it to whatever you want to couple, you may also need to flip it, i intend to rework this and my other trains once the new train modding updates release
The Class 66 is a freight locomotive developed from the earlier Class 59, in use in the UK and Continental Europe. It was first ordered by EWS (English,Welsh & Scottish Railway) as a replacement for a variety of older locomotives inherited from the companies it bought out. The company approached EMD who had made the Class 59, a highly reliable loco developed for Foster Yeoman. The locomotive is based off the American SD40, but with a different bodyshell to fit the smaller UK loading gauge. 250 were ordered by EWS and orders continued by various companies untill 2016 when the last one was built for GBRf, owing to the non-compliance of emissions regulations by the loco, and being unable to modify the design and keep it within the UK loading gauge size.

You are free to upload liveries of this without asking however if you do edits to the model or uv or upload it as a seperate quickmod i ask that i am credited and this workshop page is linked! 🙂

if you want to make a reskin or modified model [e.g. specification and component changes or additions for fictional variants] you are welcome to release it on the workshop without seeking prior permission, just please credit the original model creator (me) and keep it to rolling line and not porting elsewhere!
