Description:

Various tweaks and additions for the fruit build. Overall goals are to add variety in what this build can look like, reduce reliance on specific Rare symbols (Mrs Fruit, Pear/Chefarmer), and make Seeds worth taking in a symbol draft.

– Existing symbols and items –

Mrs. Fruit: This mod indirectly buffs Mrs. Fruit by adding more fruit to the symbol pool, including some that combo with her particularly well. To compensate, her coin value now starts at 0.

Cherry: Gives 1 more coin once per spin when adjacent to another Cherry, and makes adjacent Martinis give twice as many coins.

Banana Peel: Destroys itself due to decay after 20 spins. Decays twice as fast with Time Machine.

Ricky the Banana: Makes the new Banana Peel decay effect only happen 50% of the time, to avoid turning the effect into an unnecessary Ricky nerf.

Monkey: Gives 1 more coin once per spin when adjacent to another Monkey.

Oswald the Monkey: Gives Seeds a 10% chance to grow into a Coconut specifically, in addition to their chance to grow into a random plant.

Mouse: Also eats Cherries and Seeds, and gives 10 coins for each. (Still gives 15 for Cheese)

– New symbols and items –

Tangerine: Common symbol | Gives 1 | Makes adjacent Oranges give 2 times as many coins.

Pomegranate: Uncommon symbol | Gives 2 | Has a 5% chance to add a Seed. Adds 2 Seeds when destroyed.

Plum (copied from Symbol Resurrection): Uncommon symbol | Gives 2 | Makes adjacent Chef, Farmer, and Mrs Fruit give double coins.

Durian: Uncommon symbol | Gives 7 | Makes adjacent symbols give -1 less coin. Note – on average with no Protractor/Swapping Device/etc, Durian will be adjacent to 5.5 other symbols.

Grape: Common symbol | Gives 1 | Makes adjacent Wine give 1 more coin, and has a 2% chance to transform into Wine.

Grapevine: Uncommon symbol | Gives 1 | Adds 3 Grapes when destroyed.

Duck: Common symbol | Gives 1 | Destroys adjacent Grape, Grapevine, and Peach. Gives 12 coins for each symbol destroyed.

Smoothie: Uncommon symbol | Gives 0 | Destroys adjacent Common and Uncommon fruit (the same list as Mrs. Fruit) and permanently gives 1 more coin for each fruit it collects. Destroys itself after collecting 4 fruit, and gives 8 times as many coins when destroyed.

Gourmand: Very Rare symbol | Gives 2 | Destroys all adjacent non-Common food, including alcohol. Permanently gives 1 more coin for each Uncommon symbol they destroy, 2 for each Rare, and 3 for each Very Rare.

Seed Packet: Common item | Click to destroy it and add 5 Seeds.

Seed Packet Essence: When a Seed is destroyed, this item destroys itself and gives 50 coins.

Mouse Hole: Uncommon item | When a Mouse is adjacent to a Cat, the Mouse is removed and put into the Mouse Hole, which gives 2 coins for each Mouse in it.

Mouse Hole Essence: When a Mouse is adjacent to a Cat, the Mouse is removed and this item gives 20 coins. Destroys itself after 5 Mice are removed.

– Known issues –
* Mice sometimes get removed by Mouse Hole but don’t get put *into* the Mouse Hole (i.e. Mouse Hole doesn’t give any more coins) for reasons I have not been able to identify
* When Gourmand is increasing their permanent bonus, they sometimes count the same symbol twice, for reasons I have not been able to identify
* Banana Peels don’t count toward the destruction of Ricky the Banana Essence or Time Machine Essence
* Monkeys don’t display the multiplier from Oswald the Monkey Essence (visual error only, coin payout is correct)
* Pomegranate’s chance to add a seed does not scale with multiple destroyed Conveyor Belt Essences beyond the first, and as such cannot exseed 20%
* Multiple people have reported crashes in endless mode resulting from a combination of Gourmand, Compost Heap, and Telescope/Protractor. However, this is actually a base-game bug that happens when the list of destroyed symbols gets too long, and can also happen with, for example, multiple destroyed Graverobber Essences. The prolific symbol output of Compost-genic Grapevines simply causes the game to reach that point sooner. The additions of Plum and Durian, and the reduction in how many Grapes get added by Grapevine, should reduce the frequency this happens.
