Cela’s Dread cost rework
Highly compatible, small mod that changes some of the dread cost to increase unit caps for the Beastmen!
All Minotaurs are now merged into one group, giving you +1 to every variant when purchasing.
The following unit’s caps are increased by 2 instead of 1 when purchasing: Harpies, Tuskgor Chariot, Chaos Spawn, Bestigors.
Ungors, Gors, Bestigors are much cheaper now. I dislike that you have a cap on Ungors at all but I wasnt able to delete the line from the table without completely bugging it. Also couldnt merge Ungors and Gors into a group (so you would get more Ungors passively by increasing Gor cap).
In compensation for cheaper base units the big boys are a little more expensive now.
Hero costs: Wargor 400, Gorebull 600, Shaman 500.
I thought it was pretty silly to have 3 different Minotaur caps to care about, the way it is in vanilla I would probably never play Minotaurs with shields, now it’s a valid consideration over increasing the cap further. Also Minotaurs are fun and all, but they are imo not worth as much as the top dogs.
Paying 500 for a single Bestigor unit also seemed pretty rediculous and limiting to me. At least with the Gors you would get a total of 4 units for 400 but it’s the Beasties core unit and I hate having Ungors in my armies.
Manticore/Harpies are more expensive but you get an extra Harpy unit and I feel like having flying units is very valuable (also get a mod that buffs Manticores).
I scrapped a lot of ideas, like merging Manticores with Chaos Spawn and Harpies with Poison Hounds and Razogors or merging Ghorgons with Cygors and Jabbers with Chaos Spawn.
