Crimson – Iwashi – Deep Sea Sub

Iwashi – いわし (Japanese) Noun
Translation: 鰯: Sardine

After seeing that the underwater missions can be a little further away than expected… i decided to make a container sized sub that could get to where you need to go in a hurry. Cause nobody got time for that. maxing out at a top speed of 106ms in high gear this little beauty will get you where you need to go while still being able to precisely maneuver the winding caves network.

Features:

Lidar and sonar activated from the HUD
Auto Depth Hold – Activated by default will keep your current depth from surface
Sea Floor Depth Hold – Will keep the distance under ship to the sea floor
1/2 Depth Hold – will keep the sub in the middle of the surface to the sea floor (this feature also works in caves and will keep you centered vertically in the caverns)
2x articulated arms – to get what you were there to get in the first place
Air tanks – to run underwater for as long as the game will (probs longer)
Basic equipment – needed for deep sea recue
Remote operations – for if you were to loose your little buddy (channel 8)
Container attachments – to get him on deck when needed

Container size, 11×29 with attachments
Speed 10 low gear, 25 mid gear and 106 hi gear (meters per second)
fuel: 360L Diesel
Air: self filling air tanks
Generator auto on/off
Ground Mag all for sea floor parking

Sonar:

I have made a basic sonar for this although with the current state of sonar i assume there will be some slight changes and will be updating this when that time comes.

Lidar:

My first lidar, its 3d and quite helpful in those very dark caves

Controls:

W/S: F/R
A/D: Yaw
up/down: depth
left/right: roll

1: system on/off
2: change gears low/mid/high
3:
4 Autopilot to gps
6:Lights
Space: control arms when active

Arms:

When active (select either arm on instrument panel above HUD
W/S: rear arm forward/back
Up/Down: Forward arm forward/back
A/D: left right sway of arms
Space (double tab quickly) turn on or off attachment, either equipment or connectors

Rev 1.1
Added 1/2 depth hold
Better Lidar display and performance
Constant surface hold

Rev 1.2
improved lidar even more as some were still getting blue screen when loading too many items
added welder and push button on each arm
