Disassembled early Soviet track builders
To fill the gap between the start of the 20th century and the 1950s several modders have made wonderful track builders for early starts. For an early start in realistic/cosmonaut mode, you need disassembled track builders at the customs house that can be transported to the rail construction office by truck. These are disassembled track builders from the Soviet customs. The disassembled track builders included are:

To transport the disassembled track builders from the customs house to the rail construction office, you need the only truck capable of transporting this: the Heavy Steam Crawler by Novu:
