Jacobi Motor Company SL and Variants
The Jacobi SL. Simply the name Jacobi brings to mind one image, an olive drab quad loaded with men in khaki and green. Since the days of the Second World War, the Jacobi has served in all branches of the Lockellan Armed Forces, and outside of it as well, in roles as diverse as policing the Muratoris to carrying electrical supplies down the highway. The SL is a rugged and modular platform, suited for pretty much whatever is thrown its direction.
The SL was first concieved of in 1938 for the Lockellan Army by the Jacobi Motor Company. After Lockelle was drawn into the conflict which engulfed the world, more companies such as the Cullington Automobile Plant were converted to build vehicles for the war effort, one chiefly being the SL. The SL saw service throughout the war, from the streets of Frustrum to the shores of Muratori. Variations of the chassis were widespread, with everything from gun tows to bazooka-toting armored menaces. Amphibious versions were tested and used in small numbers by the Marines, but these were largely replaced and overshadowed by the Light Assault Craft, or LAC. A version with a longer bed was used for transport as well.
The SL is still in very limited military use today, mainly in reserve units for transport behind the lines and such, places where they won’t face enemy fire. The Muratorian police forces use them as well in conjunction with more modern vehicles. A very large amount have found their way into civilian hands and private collections. Multiple reside in the Frustrum Museum of Military Power, including one confiscated from Mr. Gordon Woo after his incarceration which allegedly was stolen from Mr. Lawrence Lee Junior, also incarcerated.
These vehicles are robust and feisty with a tight turn radius and over-the-top acceleration. Perfect for recon missions, speed, and whatever the heck you need to do with these things.
Please, I beg of you, DON’T GIVE ME CREDIT FOR THIS! These are modifications of the recreation of the Jacobi from TTHF3500’s Vehicles mod, which is linked in at the end of the description. I am not responsible for seventy-five percent of the awesomeness here. All I did was give them modifications or make certain parts spawnable seperately. This includes the base SL, an SL with a canvas cover, an SL with a machine gun which is a prop and doesn’t work so I warned you don’t start getting annoyed with me, an SL which is a rusted wreck which was featured in my first map, a drivable version of the wrecked SL, the wheel from the wrecked SL, and finally a wheel which is from the clean SL.
