Latam – Slums1
OVERVIEW
Such profoundly unequal societies as those from Latin America just could not fully embrace the marxist and egalitarian ideals and policies. Even in more left-wing administrations in the region, the lower stratas of society, formed mostly by peasants, unskilled workers and clercks, were may times were relegated to ill-equiped housing projects and, sometimes, with no access to public housing at all.
In contrast to my last upload, this set of poor houses represent your typical latin-american slum/shanty town/favela. Those are certainly not built by the government, but sometimes the administration offer discounts in the purchase of construction material for those individuals that build their own homes.
Those houses offer little to no privacy, are all very cramped together, with minimal water and power infrasctruture and are built with cheap materials, sometimes even scanvaged from public deposits.
GAMEPLAY
Those houses are extremely cheap and offer significant population density – 16 workers for each block. However, they provide very little in terms of housing quality and, therefore, should not be your standard housing for your population.
So, they have mainly three functions: i) provide very cheap housing with okay-ish number of works for starting towns; ii) offer cheap and quick housing to reduce the emmigration of 21+; iii) roleplay.
You will find 4 house blocks in total.
FINAL NOTES
Consider those as "temporary homes" while you try to provide better housing for your hard-working workers and 21+’ers.
Also, remember that you have to subscribe to the mod "Latam – Building Parts 1" for this to work."
I hope you all enjoy!
