Apocalyptic Sightseeing – More City Images
I’m pleased to announce that over 50 of the cities in this mod have officially been added to the game. Thank you for all the support!
This mod adds images for over a hundred cites that can be encountered in custom maps. What this means to say is that any maps with cities that are in this mod will now use custom artwork instead of just showing the default placeholder city.
If you have any suggestions, I’d be happy to hear them, but I can’t make any promises.
PLEASE NOTE: This mod ONLY includes the city images. In order to actually view them in game, you’ll have to use a map that has cities with names matching those in this mod. The game will automatically detect the matching names and then use the custom images instead of the default. Many of the cities here were made with certain custom maps in mind.
There are several maps that feature cities which are included in this mod. My own personal maps, Earth Re-Rolled and Rerolled Ultra, were designed specifically with this mod in mind, and this mod’s future updates will be focused around them. This map also pairs well with the MaxCities map by TAR5US, the Modern World map by Tolis and the Blue Marble mapset by Tolis. All of these maps have many (but not all) of the cities included in this mod. Some of the cities here are included in Blue Marble by default, but as this mod continues to grow, being subscribed to Apocalyptic Sightseeing is the best way to ensure all your city images are up to date.
