Description:
OVERVIEW

A vanilla-styled attack helicopter. It’s basically a conglomeration of a KA50, KA52, AH56, and also a Viggen because BK90 glider munitions. (As Mr Lunk pointed out, it looks very similar to the Bell YAH-63, so sure, that’s part of it too.)

Note: These screenshots were taken on the Spencer Mill’s map, which is probably my favorite map because it’s the perfect size for helicopters.

FEATURES
Weapons

The pilot has access to unguided rockets and glider munitions, while the gunner has a dual barrel heavy chin turret.

For the gliders, aim just above your targets, and then left click to shoot. When the gliders are over the target press whatever key is your aim key, likely right click, and the gliders will explode, dropping 15 little bomblets of death down onto anyone underneath. The MFD on the right and the one on the top of the corner will show a camera view pointing straight down from the glider which should help when aiming. They take a bit to get used to but are pretty fun (at least to me).

Particles

Custom particles for the flares, and some modifications to the default fire and smoke particles.

Cockpit

MFDs in the cockpit should be used to effectively use the gliders. Make sure to note the small MFD on top of the dashboard to the right, which should activate when you shoot a glider and make it easier to know when to detonate them. The Gunner’s point of view, while definitely not in a state where I’m happy with it, is also shown on an MFD which should allow for other displays and weapons to be added seamlessly to the Gunner. BUT its broken right now, i broke it, uh oh

THINGS I NEED TO DO
(In order of priority)

-Quick change of the rocket firing sound
-Gunner System is buggy and annoying to use
-Bottom left corner UI image for gliders is still the rocket, which can be confusing
-Glider mounted camera should always attempt to point downwards
-Need to figure out how to get the MFDs and glider bomblets to work with RavenM (Maybe shoot out the bomblets with a bunch of guns mounted on the glider, which sounds stupid and is stupid but is the only way I can figure out how it’s going to sync)
-Landing gear retraction and suspension
-The model needs more details such as bolts and armor panels.

This is actually my first Ravenfield mod (the other mods on my profile I just provided models for), so I’d definitely like feedback on it.
