Description:

This mod started by adding a number of cliche fantasy races to game. It’s expanding from there.

I’m sure there are bugs and issues. I also have no idea how close to balanced these might be at the moment. I’m open to suggestions on things that can be added, improved, or fixed!

The races:

Dwarves
Hill Dwarves – Short and sturdy. Good at crafting.
Mountain Dwarves – Short and even more sturdy. Good at laboring.

Elves
High Elves – Intelligent and graceful.
Wood Elves – Excellent archers and hunters
Dark Elves – Stealthy. Good assassins.

Halflings – Short and quick. Excellent thieves.

Gnomes – Short and smart. Great at engineering and science.

Orcs – Tough and strong but kind of dumb.

Goblins – Short dexterous tinkerers.

Ogre – Giant brutes. Not good at much except smashing and getting smashed. Rare to find them in most factions.

Trolls – Vicious and feral. Good at unarmed combat due to their large claws. Bad at other things due to their large claws. Natural regeneration. Very rare to find them in most factions.

Other Stuff:

A New Weapon Type!
A new heavy weapon has been added to the game. The Trunk.
This is a giant club that does pure blunt damage. It’s currently tuned to have a 2.2 blunt damage mult, which rivals the Falling Sun for a total mult, but isn’t split between cutting and blunt.

This weapon comes in 10 models.

It’s is not currently available for sale on merchants. This is partially to minimize conflicts between other mods that change merchants and besides, what merchant is going to want to by a giant tree club anyways?

Instead, you’ll now find aggressive Wild Ogres wandering randomly around the world. They are fairly uncommon spawns that have been haphazardly tossed into the spawn pool of a number of different zones at varying rarities. They may be a bit dangerous for unprepared squads.

There are 3 tiers of ogres: Young, Normal, and Ancient. They are guaranteed to drop a Trunk. Young Ogres carry Tier 1 models. Normal Wild Ogres carry Tier 1 or 2 with a weighting preference of 50/100 toward tier 2. Ancient Ogres carry 1, 2, or 3 with a weighting of 25/50/100 toward tier 3.

Moving forward, I would like to add more items to the game that are tied in with the new races.

Eventually I may get around to actually playing the game.
