More Hero Options
PSA: There is currently an issue causing crashing when meeting too many free cities while this mod is active. If this happens to you, you can try disabling the mod and then loading your save. I’ve been unsuccessfully looking for a fix, and I’m hoping someone on the forums will be able to help.
Changes the starting number of heroes available to recruit from the player race to 8. This should make it a bit easier to find heroes to recruit with the traits that you like.
If you prefer to be able to decide traits for your heroes 100% of the time without randomness, you should check out the mod Backgrounds are Hero Skills by Anooooj:
