Description:

NOTE: Currently this mod fails to give you money when you take a settlement via Occupy and Raze. I don’t really know how to fix that, but I made this mod mainly to balance the Public Order penalty. If anyone knows how to fix this bug please tell me so, you will be given appropiate credits of course.

I feel like being punished for occupying a settlement by having a massive -25 to public order, and this means that I must have not only a full stack army but also a public order increasing general just to counter that, and on top of that I also get a -10 public order for taking a settlement with a different culture than mine regardless of which conquest option you took(Of course, razing and looting takes the public order problem to the extreme). Morover, you receive too little money for any action you take.

I decided I did not like that, and so I created this mod. The changes are these:

Occupying a settlemet:
-10 Public Order
-10 Public Order if capturing a settlement with different culture, -5 if it has the same culture
+1000 talents(You receive the money due to looting, it is just in a less brutal way, mainly because looting was a normal part of war.)

Raze:
-25 Public Order penalty, which means it is a single big hit but not a continuous penalty. This is meant to represent how people resent you while you are purging them in the remainder of the turn, but since they are all gone by the next turn you have no further penalties.
-No Public Order due to instability because everyone who disliked you is now dead.

Subjugate:
+500 talents(minor loot your soldiers did while you and the other faction leader discuss the treaty, alternatively, this can also be seen as the initial payment this future client state has to give)

Loot:
+talents, the exact numbers vary but it should give you even more than before(Because you are focusing entirely on looting and slaving.)
-15 Public Order
-15 Public Order due to instability(Bad economy during the following years)
*Damage to buildings reduced, you are looting, not razing.

Sack:
+talents from vanilla but it should yield less money than looting, it is still profitable if you have armies lying around and you are roleplaying a barbarian faction whose income comes from sacking rather than conquering.
-15 Public Order to the sacked province due to instability(bad economy like in looting, just not as bad)
-25 Public Order to the sacked province(More than loot, because most of the original population are still there and they are scared and no longer trust their garrison can keep them safe)
*Damage to Buildings reduced because it is only logical that the less you destroy, the more valuables you collect for profit.

I tried my best to reduce the penalties and bring them to a less tedious level while justifying why and balancing everything out. I would really like to receive some feedback from anybody who uses the mod.

It should also be noted that the mod ought to be compatible with Radious mod and Dresden’s Sack, Liberation and Diplomatic Options Mod, but please take note that I don’t have time to fully test the mod or check if it was compatible with every single mod out there, which is why I would like to receive feedback.
