Early Train/Trackbuilder – B&O 1832
This mod includes a basic diesel locomotive and track builder designed for early starts (pre-1950).
The Grasshopper was a very early locomotive type developed and sold within the USA from 1832 – ca. 1870. It was a small, scrappy little engine with most of its machinery open to the elements. Most of the Grasshoppers which have been preserved to this day belonged to the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad (B&O.)
The engine was named for its four large pistons which moved in circles, similar to a grasshopper’s legs.
The Trackbuilder can be bought, Disassembled, from the Western Border. The trackbuilder comes with an animated crane.
Both vehicles have working night lights and smoke.
