Parallax Compression (FPS Improvement)
Instead of removing the parallax background like other mod does to improve performance, it compresses (with no quality lost) everything in the /parallax/images/ directory, reducing them to half its file size. The mod also includes Parallax Fixes.
This mod is a request from a number of users. Feel free to test them out and report if this has successfully improved your performance.

Why would you need an FPS boost?
Because the vanilla images are not optimized, so I optimized it to 50%-75% of its size. It’s a request from a number of users too.

Is there a quality loss?
Nope, nothing noticeable.

Work on multiplayer?
Yes. This only replaces images on your end so it will be compatible.

Compatible with Frackin’ Universe (FU)?
Compatible. As in, vanilla parallax images will remain compressed.
However, images from FU might still run slow. I don’t change anything from FU and don’t have enough interest in doing that. You might want to ask FU team to compress their images, if they haven’t already.
