"You were almost a Jill-sandwich"

This addon brings a toggable RE1 styled inventory along with some items to your Garry’s Mod.

I tried my best to replicate the original inventory from Resident evil 1 on PSX including sounds and textures. You will find 3 working functions: Use, Examine and Drop. The ‘combine’ function is not present unfortunately.

How to use:

– To toggle the inventory, press F4. If want to use another key, just use console to bind a key to "re_inventory" command (see console commands section for more).
– Items can be spawned with ‘Entities’ tab in sandbox gamemode. You can spawn items manually with console by typing re_spawnitem [item name]
– Weapons can be used separately from the inventory and can be obtained from ‘Weapons’ tab under sandbox gamemode.

Items:

There are 3 item categories (for now): weapons, ammo and heal items.

– Weapons: Knife, 9mm, Magnum, Shotgun, Grenade launcher, Rocket launcher and Flamethrower
– Ammo: 3 types of glauncher rounds (acid, flame, explosive), pistol clip, magnum rounds, shotgun rounds
– Heal items: Green herb and Healthspray

Console commands:

re_invetory: toggle the inventory screen
re_spawnitem [item name]: spawns an item to be used with RE inventory in front of you
re_printinventory: prints the content of your inventory to console
re_item_use [slot number]: uses the item from the given slot
re_item_drop [slot number]: drops the item from the given slot
re_itemlist: prints all RE item names to console

WARNING: For the addon to work properly, you must install this addon for the models to show up!

You also need HL2:EP2 mounted for the Acid grenade splash effect to work.
