Wandering Faith (or "Day 17") was originated made up by Trevor Henderson. Wandering Faith (or "Day 17") However, can use his tentacles from his mouth to catch and pick-up human and eat them.
Who’s Trevor Henderson?:
Trevor Henderson is a Canadian Illustrator, artist and writer, commonly known for his horror related works.
Trevor has released several books and graphic novels.
He is also best known for creating various internet (or mysterious) "cryptids", such as: Siren Head, Cartoon Cat, Long Horse, and many more.

💡Did you know💡: Trevor said that he was heavily inspired by Stephen King’s “The Mist” when creating it and most of the other Giants. Trevor said that it can be considered both as a hand coming down from the sky, as well as a creature with four legs with a very long neck. He also said however, that the latter was the one he considered the most.
Also, the name “Day 17” is a Fan-Given name and should NOT be used when referring to this creature in order to avoid confusion. However, the Fan-Given name (Day 17) was likely popularized by the "Garry’s Mod" pack that refers to it as such. In one related creature, some fans started theorizing that "Remain Indoors" is very similar to "The Wandering Faith" that could be related to.
