Surcouf (Underwater Cruiser)
Finally after so long, here it is! This sub can do it all. Working sea plane that can takeoff on water, check. Little motor boat, check. Giant guns to rock your enemies, double check!
Surcouf was the largest French cruiser submarine. She served in both the French Navy and the Free French Naval Forces during the Second World War. She was lost during the night of 18/19 February 1942 in the Caribbean Sea, possibly after colliding with an American freighter
The gun has a full reload system, and engaging gun system. (Watch the video to see how to properly load the gun.)
To charge: Set the drive clutch to 50 to keep some speed at full power on gear 1. Then go down to the electric engine room, and engage the generator clutch to 100%. Now activate charging mode.
I have also been messing with my torps, and finally found a way to control the bearing by using the periscope, so now aiming, and firing torps is as easy as ever. Each torp control panel has a small TV screen that the torps will send video to. The bow torps frequency is: 1111 for torp 1 and 2222 for torp 2 and so on. The stern torps are: 111 for 1, and 222 for 2 and so on.
I also recommend when launching the motor boat. After disconnecting it, to sprint push it into the water so it wont roll over. If it does roll over just grab the mag connector on the bottom and swim under to roll it back over.
I had a lot of fun making this monster. It took a little while to, but its a blast to use. Have fun, and enjoy.
Update: I fixed the map. Put the air intake on the top of the motor boat for better performance. I tweaked the plane a bit, so now it flies really nice, and can take off properly. I also added a fuel port on the left side to refuel the sub. I added thermal to the main guns for better night time performance, enjoy.
Update 2: I finally manged to fix the despawning planes, but this now means that you can’t fly the plane back to the sub, and ditch the plane for the sub. This will despawn the sub, but you can now fly the plane around to your hearts content. Just remember to load the plane back onto the sub. However if you have a friend on the sub while you fly away. It should be fine.
