Smokin’ Joe’s Hot-Plates
- Adds 2 Single-Burner Hot-Plates that function as portable stoves. One electric and one propane fueled.
- Electric hotplate can be powered by a battery (car batteries or a camping battery) on the same square.
- Adds a camping battery.
- Attach hot-plates to your backpacks if you use my Sleeping Bags and Attachments mod.
After some fiddling I’ve managed to make the electric hotplates work with batteries from vehicles, and added a "Camping Battery" which is smaller, but won’t run the stove for as long.
Place a qualifying battery (car battery or camping battery) on the same square as the hot plate. You cannot turn the stove on and off as you typically would. When you place an item onto the hotplate, it will begin heating automatically. When you remove everything from the stove, it will shut off.
The propane hot-plate has a 50 capacity, even though it is specified as 5, like the electric version. This is because the core game does not honor this value. It’s the same with the propane grill, whos capacity should only be 15. I couldn’t find a fix for this, but released the mod anyway for anyone who wants to use it.
