The Binding of Isaac: Decadence – Character Tweaks
Feel like some characters aren’t that special? Do you want some extra flare to some of your favorites? Worry not! In this mod, I have gave nearly every character in the game some special changes to their starting kit to shake things up! The intent was not to radically change the characters or their playstyles, but give them small, fitting extras to add to their themeing or gameplay.
With that said, what’s changed?
* Isaac now holds Kid’s Drawing, as a reminder of the past that is slowly fading away behind him
* Magdalene holds Stem Cell, allowing her to heal even more between floors and become the absolute tank she was made to be!
* Adding to Cain’s thievery theming, he now holds a Get Out Of Jail Free card in order to get out of a dire situation fast.
* Judas now holds his tongue, allowing him to take Devil Deals at a reduced price to offset his low health
* Blue Baby holds Petrified Poop in order to reap rewards from his poop, and he is no longer alone, as he also starts with Forever Alone as a friendly fly familiar!
* Eve holds the foot of one of her birds, allowing her to spawn even more of them when killing enemies!
* Samson holds a reverse Emperor card, giving him the ability to battle his way for more rewards, true to the core for one of the strongest beings in the basement!
* Azazel now holds Wicked Crown, giving him special bonuses if he journies back to his home of Sheol
* Lazarus holds Plan C, giving him a powerful, yet deadly weapon to use. Use it as a last resort, or as a quick way to transform into Lazarus Risen
* Similarly to Azazel, The Lost now holds Holy Crown, rewarding him for successfully passing on to the heavens above.
* Lilith holds The Twins, giving her a chance to double one of her familiars each room, ruch as her Incubus!
* The Keeper now holds a Hermit card, allowing him to enter a shop right from the get go!
* Apollyon holds Black Rune, giving it a free void effect, as well as Endless Nameless to continuously utilize consumables, similarly to the Void’s effect on actives.
* The Forgotten now holds a reverse High Priestess card. Make sure not to get stomped, now.
* Bethany holds an extra key and Rosary Bead, increasing her chance of finding Angel Rooms even further, as well as giving a chance to find the Bible in Shops!
* Tainted Isaac now holds a dark reminder of his past with a Reverse Lovers card, allowing him to spawn items at the cost of a heart container.
* Tainted Magdalene holds Child’s Heart, just like Samson, allowing her to find even more hearts!
* Tainted Cain holds 5 coins, one bomb, and one key, giving him a good set of pick-ups for him to save up.
* Tainted Blue Baby holds Dingle Berry, allowing him to build up an army of dirty friends, as well as the ability to call upon his birthplace with a reverse Justice card.
* Tainted Eve regains her birds with Soul of Eve, allowing her to call upon her very own murder against bigger threats.
* Tainted Samson holds Red Patch, allowing him to get even stronger upon damage. It’s no Bloody Lust, but it’ll work.
* Tainted Azazel holds Bat Wing, giving him a chance to regain his clipped wings upon killing an enemy!
* Tainted Lost now holds Faded Polaroid as a glimpse into a more normal life. Poor Lost…
* Tainted Keeper also gets a Hermit card alongside the Rib of Greed trinket, allowing him to recieve even more money!
* Tainted Apollyon now holds Cricket Leg, allowing him to gain an army of Harbinger Locusts!
