D&RGW EMD F7 (Silver Dollar Scheme)
D&RGW Silver Dollar F7 Skin
The Denver & Rio Grande Western bought EMD F7s 5611a 5612b, 5613c, & 5614d in their biggest order of 1949 in July. These units were repainted in between Dec 1950 and Mar 1951 to the Famous Aspen Gold main paint, Aluminum secondary paint, and the 4 black stripes paint scheme or my personal nickname "Silver Dollar" Scheme. Name after the nickname of Quaking Aspens, a common tree around D&RGW Right of Ways.
