Pings cobblestone streets Texture Overhaul
Don’t forget to Like & Favorite. Then it is faster findable for others.
It is the same installation method as with all other texture mods.
Add the folder [paths] to the game directory [media_soviet] & overwrite the files.
The game directory can be opened via Steam.
Right click on the game in the left bar, then on Manage & Browse Local Files.
It is recommended to create a backup file, before overwriting.
The path to the mod folder is:
Steam / steammapps / workshop / content / 784150 / 2991686368
Here there are new handmade cobblestone streets
The gravel road is now a natural stone pavement made of basalt.
The concrete slab road is now a concrete block cobblestone road in line bond.
There is also a completely new cast concrete slab road as an aircraft road.
Normal asphalt roads now have a brick cobblestone sidewalk in herringbone bond. (The sidewalk is already in place during gravel/stone placement when build it yourself).
The deco walkway texture is the same, the large area one is the one with natural stone pavement from the previous gravel road.
Streets with lanterns are almost the same as before in the old mod, only I made the sidewalks a little lighter & added raindrains to the sides, also concrete cobblestone look.
The range for private cars was also increased in the .ini file to 5 kilometers. (Not shown visually in game when using the parking in range feature).
I have also reworked the rail texture for streetcars, it is now no longer simple white lines but it looks more like used rails.
The forklift roads have received new markings. (if it looks strange, you just have to change the factory connection until it fits. I can’t determine the texture placement for the build).
NOTE
The crosswalks are no longer visually recognizable, but are still there when you connect them to the road.
People will still walk across them.
Ground textures for the terrain like grass are not included, only the roads.
Tip
You can build roads inside each other by holding down the Shift key. Build a road, but don’t place it yet, and then drag in ghost mode with Shift, so you can build into another road.
