Description:

The Large Capacity Railcar, often abbreviated to AGC, is a family of articulated self-propelled units built by Bombardier. Depending on the model, the AGC is electrically, diesel, or dual-mode powered.
The AGC represents the most important French railway equipment in terms of numbers in the 2010s. As a result, with a very large number of units, it has marked the French railway landscape since the 2000s.
Put into service from 2004, it is on June 15, 2011 that the 700th and last trainset is awarded to the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, thus ending the 10-year contract with Bombardier for these trainsets.
