Description:
Nightfall city prepopulated

As the title states, a map, a tiny city, thats already prepopulated.
But!
There is a day/nightcycle
This is tought as some kind of Hub Maps for GM’s

@GameMaster, please do not fiddle with the atmosphere, because it will break the map.

It contains:

  • 150 Hours of worktime
  • A Day/Nightcycle. With different NPC behavior depending on the time
  • 70 NPC’s
  • Vanilla Traders
  • A small Tavern/Questing hub thats open 24/7
  • Movement restrictions for players, but not npc.s Player cannot leave the city, or enter houses (except for the tavern)

How does the Day/Nightcycle work

When the map first loads in, the Map resets to the start of daytime..
Daytime lasts for 4 Minutes, in this time npc’s will come out of their houses and wander the town.
Evening lasts for 2 Minutes, all npc’s except for traders will return to their homes. The traders will go into the tavern, and still trade with players.
Night lasts for 2 Minutes. all npc’s including the traders will return to their homes. The only thing still around is guards, which are patroling, or visiting the tavern.

Forcing a time of day/freezing time

The GM gets the option, to freeze/set time in the GM room (accessible via a to players invisible sign near the central fountain)

Please be aware, while the GM sees it as set time immediately, the players will still have a slow transition to said time of day.

There are 4 Levers with plates.
The first one Resumes Time from the current point on, if it was previously frozen.
The second lever sets the time, to daytime, and freezes it.
The thrid lever sets the time to evening and freezes it.
And finally the last one sets it to nighttime, and freezs it.

What about that chicken in the GM room?

The Chicken is the owner of all red Items in the City (They’re always white to the gm). If you want to disable this, kill the chicken. All items should become white to the player.
