Description:

The Astronomical clock of Brno

It’s a monument made out of black stone, placed at the main square in city of Brno (Czech Republic)
The original authors of this clock tower (the irl version) are Oldřich Rujbr and Petr Kameník.

The in-game version has several variants

1) The "Astronomical clock – classic" is meant to represent the original monument in Brno.
It’s just a small monument, noting more, nothing less. It adds tiny bit of loyalty bonus in small area radius.
It is also free to build, since I feel it is too tiny for an actual construction to make sense. (Also it is free due to the fact that city of Brno offered their clock to Kaliningrad (Královec) in the event when it’d join the Czech Republic. The clock is meant to symbolise the "2nd largest city" and since Kaliningrad is larger than Brno, it’d gained the right to have the clock)

2) The "Astronomical clock – fountain" works same as the classic one, it has same loyalty bonuses and it is also free as well. The only difference is that, it works as a fountain as well, having a water splash particle if both water and electricity are provided.
The real life version doesn’t sadly have this function.

3) The "Astronomical clock – tourist attraction" works as a tourist attraction. It doesn’t have any bonuses on loyalty, but it operates as an attraction (Sight Tower).
This function does actually tie to the real life clock in Brno as well. Every day at 11:00, one small glass ball is dropped inside and it will land in one of the 4 holes on the sides where people can reach. Person who manages to grab the glass ball gets to keep it.
In this spirit, there are 4 visitor slots in this building (one for every side hole), maybe one of them will win the ball.

4) & 5) There fall under the last and pretty much same category.
Those are "Astronomical clock – monument (L)" and "Astronomical clock – monument (XL)"
They are larger with higher bonuses and are no longer free to place, you’ll have to either build them from your resources or pay for them.
These actually came to be from the requests of dlseis, who is a strong follower of the clock.
You can also put your custom texts on these large versions (they’re basically using the large clock model on the vanilla pedestal, our leader Lenin normally stands on)

Q: Wasn’t this mod already here?

A: Yes indeed, it was. Regrettably, it was taken more as a joke than actual work of art, especially by the author of the mod Tigrovica, who made way too much "shape" jokes in the mod description, preview image and even the mod title.
And it can be only assumed that these jokes were little hard to swallow for some.

Anyways, yes this is a remake of the original clock mode. Not re-upload, it’s an actual remake. I did edited the model slightly, for I wasn’t too happy with the original, which used to have only flat texture with the holes and gabs being only textured on. This time, the clock is actually fully 3D, including the holes & gabs.
There are also hopefully less glitches now, and hey… we can actually use the new gameplay features now (like the free buildings).
(Fun fact, the original mod was created in the frustration, that the tram update, which also added the free buildings function, that’s used on the current mod version, was taking too long for an already deranged mind to bare. This insanity is also the reason for the number of "jokes" under the original mod description)
