Heavyweight Series: Union pacific
Union Pacific had multiple trainsets, the City of LA, City of Denver, City of SF and the Overland or Challenger to name others. Their trainsets before the late 40s were primarilly gray and white, I’ve always called this the Overland or Challenger scheme. Correct? Maybe. I do know that the gray and yellow scheme is called Greyhound…
Here is your standard color scheme add-on for the Heavyweight Passenger set. It has two schemes, the Overland Gray scheme and Armour Yellow. Each have their own unique drumhead. The Overland scheme has a circle drumhead with the 1912 logo. The Armour Yellow scheme has a standard UP shield with the UP logo.
As usual, it has multiple LODs.
- Baggage
- Diner
- Coach
- Parlor
- Sleeper
- Observation Business Class
- Interiors with details
- Baggage car has visible load
- Custom sounds by MrCheesecake
- Couplers by Model Citizen
- Group Listed under starter pack Pullmans
- Start in 1915, Black Diamond available in 1937
- Different price and capacity based on seating capacity in prototypes
- Couplers connect with MC’s hoses appearing connected
- Custom drumhead for each scheme
These are just a generic heavyweight set, to be used where ever you choose. It was made with reskinning in mind so many railroads could be represented. It is not based off one specific traincar, as many, many passenger cars differed in layout and style. So I grabbed what I saw on the internet and took ideas from that.
- Either in this mod or another, a combine, a second coach, RPO, and horse baggage car (80′ long baggage car)
