Here presented is an add-on for MEIOU & Taxes 3.0 meant to improve the graphical fidelity of the flags of Anglo-French region of the game.
The Steam Workshop unfortunately compresses any previews, severely affecting the quality; these look magnitudes better when actually viewed in-game.
The unique artistic style presented by this mod is intended to mimick the Armorial style of the Renaissance; with all of its hand-painted qualities. As such, those who desire a perfected style, like that of Wappen-Wiki, will find this mod to be an eyesore.
Shown below are those factions aligned with the Valois dynasty of France (In order of appearance from left-to-right, top-to-bottom.): Dauphiné, France, Alençon, Anjou, Bourbonnais, Berry, Burgundy, Orléans, & Provence
Shown below are those factions aligned with the Plantagenet dynasty of England (In order of appearance from left-to-right, top-to-bottom.): York, England, Landcaster, Albret, Brittany, Aquitaine
The heraldric charges which have been used are drawn directly out of the Armorial of King Louis XIII of France, published between 1610-1621; "Les noms et surnoms, qualitez, armes et seigneuries de tous les cardinaux, prelats et commandeurs de l’Ordre du St -Esprit, qui ont esté faicts par le très crestien roy de France et de Navarre, Louis XIII"
