Byzantine Claim On Italy
The Byzantines were the continuation of the Roman Empire and to form the Roman
Empire you need several counties in Italy. Unfortunetly, the Byzantines only have a
de jure claim on Sicily in the base game. This mod makes Italy a de jure part of the
Byzantine Empire so that you don’t need to wait long peroids of time to get a
casus belli to take territories in Italy needed to create the Roman Empire.
Planned Additions:
1. Add a Byzantine claim on Istria so the Empire can have a land route connecting it’s De Jure territory
2. Give the Kingdom of Italy De Jure claims on the land of the Kingdom of Sicily without removing the KIngdom os Sicily entirely. (Like France and Aquataine)
