Korean Names Realization
The English explanation may be unnatural because a translator is used.
This mod realistically renames NPCs belonging to Korean culture.
Here are the changes:
1. Remove Last names that do not exist or are very rare in Korea and add Last names that are many in Korea. At that time in Korea, there was no difference in the last names used by commons and nobles, so both classes share the same set of last names.
2. Add 300 Korean first names for each male and female. The list of names is a top 300 most popular names in Korea 2008, and there may be a sense of difference from the 19th century Korea. For the same reason as 1., both classes share the same set of first names.
3. In the set of regal male’s first names, the names used by the previous kings and the names that the later kings used before ascending to the throne are removed. Also, add the names used by later royalty and plausible one-letter names(when written in Korean).
The reason for separating the regal male’s first name set is that at that time in Korea(and China), there was a culture of prohibition saying or writing the Hanja(Chinese character) used for the current king’s first name. the regal males used a one-letter first name to ease the burden on that culture. Since female could not be kings, regal female’s first name set is same as common and noble female’s.
4. The names of historical figures remain unchanged.

이 모드는 한국 문화 NPC의 이름을 현실적으로 변경합니다.
변경 사항은 다음과 같습니다.
1. 한국에 존재하지 않거나 매우 희귀한 성을 제거하고 한국에서 흔한 성을 추가합니다. 당시 한국에서는 상민과 양반이 사용하는 성에 차이가 없었기 때문에 두 계급은 같은 성 세트를 공유합니다.
2. 한국 문화 남성과 여성 각각 300개씩의 이름을 추가합니다. 이름 목록은 2008년 한국에서 가장 인기 있는 이름 상위 300위이기 때문에 19세기 한국이라는 배경과 이질감이 있을 수 있습니다. 1.과 같은 이유로 두 계급은 같은 이름 세트을 공유합니다.
3. 왕족 남성에게 붙여지는 이름에서 선대 왕들이 사용한 이름과 후대 왕이 즉위하기 전까지 사용한 이름이 제거됩니다. 또한 후대 왕족이 사용했던 이름과 그럴듯한 한 글자 이름을 추가합니다.
왕족 남성의 이름 세트를 따로 만든 이유는 당시 한국(과 중국)에는 현왕의 이름에 사용된 한자를 말하거나 쓰는 것을 금하는 문화가 있었기 때문입니다. 왕족 남성은 그 문화로 인한 부담을 덜어주기 위해 한 글자 이름을 사용했었습니다. 여성은 왕이 될 수 없었기 때문에 왕족 여성은 상민, 양반 여성과 같은 이름 세트를 공유합니다.
4. 역사적 인물의 이름은 변경되지 않습니다.
