IFA Multicar 25 01
The Multicar 25, also known as M 25 for short, is a light truck from the German Democratic Republic. The vehicle replaced the Multicar 24 in 1978 and was manufactured in various versions at VEB Fahrzeugwerk Waltershausen, which was part of the Industrieverband Fahrzeugbau (IFA). In 1992 it was replaced by the Multicar 26, a year earlier there had already been the transition variant Multicar 91.
Compared to the Multicar 24-0, the two-seater version from 1974, little changed in appearance. Most noticeable is the lower windscreen, the additional triangular side windows in the A-pillar and the single windshield wiper attached at the bottom. A new vibration-damping driver’s seat has been installed in the interior and the instruments are arranged more clearly. In addition, the driver’s cab, which can be tilted forward by 42 °, was equipped with a central tilt lock between the seats.
The four-cylinder diesel engine of the type 4 VD 8.8 / 8.5-1 SRF is the same power unit as its predecessor and still has an output of 45 hp (33 kW). On request, a new creeper gear was installed, which allows low working speeds of 2 km / h.

The Multicar 25 has 267 bricks and is therefore a low brick vehicle. It drives up to 53 km/h and has rear-wheel drive. Many details were built in, but I don’t care about the interior. 😛
