Description:

This mod adds a CharPool named WOTC International Final.bin, including 35 new operatives, spanned across all types:

Contents

– 19 soldiers
– 5 VIP
– 5 Dark VIP (Check pics for a couple of them in action. Find them in the character pool with names – Domenico Corvi/Ruben Muller)
– 2 Templars
– 2 Reapers
– 2 Skirmishers

ABOUT THE PICS: You can see in some of the pics the custom DARK VIPS in action working for MOCX

(NOTE: Please, check Creation Version for compatibility details.)

Multiple nationalities and each of them have their own detailed Biographies and customization.

Lore Friendliness

Certainly. Some have a bit of mystery others more light hearted, but I didn’t go for the heroic thing. Aimed for some ground in reality. To me, ADVENT are a worldwide totalitarian regime and my inspiration went toward that. Tried bringing some dynamic to the relations between the aliens and humans, instead of straight up fighting.
I also think soldiers, in (such) “reality”, are not always picked randomly or singular. They come in groups, so you will see some relations between characters.

At the very least, I hope you enjoy playing them as much as I enjoyed making them. Bringing some history to your Long Wars for example. I also thought of the MOCX Initiative mod, so you might see some references there. I do like to think Humans can, for whatever reason, ally with the aliens. It just makes sense.
Either way, its fun to world build sometimes.

Creation Version

Test update – (My other mod) [Character Pool] Vanilla International works with WOTC and MOCX Initiative Mod.

They were made with WOTC in mind and with WOTC versions of the aesthetic mods. They should work with Vanilla of course, after all, they characters. However, if there are no aesthetic Vanilla versions, you will not see them as intended. Same goes if you don’t have the WOTC mods installed.

Of course, these mods are not necessary, but they do bring the characters to even more life. Everything was personally selected. Besides, I’m sure most have at least half of these mods. The biographies remain, so there’s no problem. Try it out on vanilla if you wish. (At your own risk of course.)

NOTE: If XCOM doesn’t generate substitutes for any of the mods you don’t have, you’ll have to customize some Torso and Arms.

For aesthetic purposes, some mods were involved in many characters, some more heavily than others, so you might need these to have them look exactly as the pics. They were necessary to bring more “legitimacy” to the soldiers, instead of just bland XCOM armor:
