This mod that I made like a year or so ago that I never released till now for some reason adds a new class intended for use with the LW2 classes for WOTC by Favid, link here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1335226018
Well maybe more then intended since the mod is required and won’t work without it or a perk pack that provides the perks, well unless you want to run with a class that doesn’t work properly which works I guess or rather it still doesn’t but you know.
This might or might not work with LWOTC although if it doesn’t I may make a second mod or whatever that does let the class work there, "may" considering I don’t know how class mods work with it.
The Rook (name taken from my previous failed attempt to make a compelling class mod) is made to address a key problem with using only the LW2 classes with WOTC, due to the way LW2 worked with it’s pistols there was no proper pistol class, now my opinion on pistols is there’s no point to them gameplay-wise without the perks from a Gunslinger tree such as base game Sharpshooters because their worse in most cases without abilities then your main weapon unless your out of ammo but even then their not strong enough on their own to do more then finish off or whittle an enemy but that’s even if you hit your target in the first place.
However this class can’t just be about the pistol stuff since that’s only good for one tree plus it’s a secondary weapon, with that in mind there are two other trees for this class to fit the theme of a Rookie who didn’t really want to go into a specialized role aka other classes hence the name Rook, these trees are 1: Marine, this is the more AR shooty tree, 2: Gunslinger, pretty much the tree from unmodded Sharpshooters with a couple of perks from the LW2 pistol stuff, 3: Survivor, we all know the jokes that Rookies are expendable so this tree is about the Rook’s attempt to break this stereotype which will probably be to failure due to RNG rolling the dice to get diced or if you suck as a Commander no offense intended.
Their weapons are a primary Assault Rifle with a secondary pistol as expected of a grunt who can’t do much of anything besides wear shirts of the red kind.
List of all the perks in detail? I mean sure here, an image gallery I made back when I was going to release this mod when I should of but didn’t because I’m an idiot or something.
Key difference between here is that I did indeed replace Shadowstep with Lightning Reflexes because these guys are still suspect to the concept of morality and not magically dodging every projectile that heads their way like the expendable grunts they are.

Ah yeah also this mod changes the name of the LW2 WOTC class Shinobi into the Scout since I don’t like the name from an immersive point of view as well as not fitting the tone of the class names in general, you can remove this change by going into the localization text file of the mod and erasing the Scout lines.
This doesn’t change the gameplay of the class or anything like that, it’s visual only and unlikely to cause problems/conflicts.
None at the moment, this is a class mod that has no custom perks but those from the base game and the LW2 classes, so unless it’s somehow broken during the upload the class should still be working just fine.
But considering my luck if there is indeed anything wrong with this mod specifically besides me not uploading it till now, post in the comments.
Hopefully people get enjoyment out of this mod to fill in a key role in their class roster that may have been missing from your LW2 WOTC class roster.
No this does not mean I’m coming back to modding full time, this is me turning in homework a year later after making sure the mod still worked yesterday.
