FSE Carrozze doppio piano ‘Casaralta’

Queste carrozze vennero acquistate, dalle FSE, nella seconda metà degli anni 90, ancora in livrea MDVC. Venne apposto il logo FSE ed iniziarono ad effettuare servizio (principalmente nel Barese). Il numero totale di carrozze acquisite permise la realizzazione di due convogli a composizione bloccata, reversibili se abbinati alla DE 122 o trainati se abbinati alle BB 150-163 (aka D341). La livrea in questione era ancora visibile nel 2016, anno in cui avvenne l’applicazione della nuova livrea sociale delle FSE (bianco, nero, rosso); purtroppo i fatti hanno condotto alla revoca della concessione ministeriale delle FSE (vedi incidente di Andria) e l’intera rete è stata assorbita dal gruppo FS.
L’arrivo delle ferrovie dello stato ha comportato l’immediato blocco di tutto il materiale vetusto; si tratta più che altro di una strategia aziendale, in cui si tende ad "uniformare" il tutto e ad eliminare rami (e veicoli) secchi. Risultano ancora salve le Aln 668 serie 1000 (registrate come Ad 31-45 per fse) per cui, evidentemente, la ferrovia ha ancora contratti di manutenzione esterni.

These coaches were purchased by the FSE in the second half of the 90s, still in MDVC livery. The FSE logo was affixed and the service began (mainly in the Bari area). The total number of wagons acquired allowed the realization of two convoys with blocked composition, reversible if coupled with the DE 122 or towed if combined with the BB 150-163. The MDVC livery was still visible in 2016, the year in which the new FSE social livery (white, black, red) was applied; Unfortunately, the facts led to the revocation of the ministerial concession of the FSE (big train accident of Andria) and the entire network was absorbed by the FS group.
The arrival of the FS led to the immediate blocking of all the old trains; it is more a matter of a corporate strategy, in which there is a tendency to "standardize" everything and to eliminate dry branches (and vehicles). The Aln 668 series 1000 (registered as Ad 31-45 for fse) are still unaffected, cause the company has still external maintenance contracts.
The casaralta double-decker coaches have been retired, probably without ever having been in service with the new livery.
