TL;DR Doubles the number of enemies.
Doubles the number of enemies of each level, and nothing else. Bosses are not affected.
The game will be a little more difficult but a lot more fun : ]
You can season the mod Power Unleashed with this one to further increase the pleasure of killing everything in one hit.
For those with iron nerves and reflexes from outer space, Iron Heart can be dressed with mobs: density x2 too. At your own risk.
This mod is also the second ingredient of two challenges I imagined for Dead Cells. Each of them represents a new way to play and enjoy the game.
> Does it increase the amount of cells dropped by enemies?
No.
> Does it increase the amount of gold dropped by enemies?
No.
> Does it increase the number of altars / scrolls / weapons found inlevels?
Nope.
> Does it increase the number of cells and gold found in each level?
Naturally yes. You will face more enemies and kill more of them, as a result you will earn more cells and gold by level.
> What is the difference with the other x2 mods in the workshop?
Good question. Contrary to them, this mod only affects the mobs density of each levels, and like I said before « nothing else ».
The intentions are:
- to keep the balance of the original game
- to be compatible with as much mods as possible
- to avoid tweaking parameters that the future game updates could change
