Description:
Open Beta

This mod is largely just a tweaked version of CA code, but I don’t currently have the time to fully test this with all 3 playable Kislev factions. I’m confident this will work, but if you choose to use this mod consider yourself a beta participant! If I get through all 3 campaigns, or if enough people are using the mod without issues, I’ll take it out of beta status. Please let me know if you run into any issues.

What it Do

This mod allows both the Supporter Race and some Devotion mechanics to be configurable via MCT. The default settings are at vanilla values so, unless you use MCT to change the values to your liking, nothing will change from vanilla. I’ll recommend some settings below that I think make these mechanics more interesting and engaging.

Supporter Race:

The Supporter Race between The Great Orthodoxy and The Ice Court has received one non-configurable change; winning the race grants 15% upkeep reduction for all units factionwide, in addition to the vanilla rewards. This is to encourage players to try to win the race. The Supporter Race can also be configured in the following ways:

Instant Confederation:

Whether or not to instantly confederate the faction that loses the race, if they’re not a player. If this is disabled then the option to confederate the loser via diplomacy is unlocked after winning the race.

Supporter Multiplier:

The number by which to multiply Supporters gained through Invoking the Motherland.

Cyclic Supporter Race:

If enabled, the Supporter Race will become cyclical and restart after a configurable number of turns. If instant Confederation is still enabled this will do nothing.

Devotion:

The Devotion mechanic now has some optional features you can enable and configure to make managing it more engaging:

Scaling Civil War Devotion Loss:

If enabled, going to war with another Kislevite faction, as a Kislevite faction, reduces your current Devotion by a configurable percentage.

Military Devotion Loss:

If enabled, losing battles will reduce your current Devotion by a configurable percentage. The percentage lost can be independently configured between losing a battle, and losing a battle with no survivors.

Chaos Incursions:

Chaos Incursions now include Chaos Dwarfs! Aside from that, incursions can be configured in the following ways:

Alternate Incursion Spawn Locations:

If enabled, chaos incursions will spawn in a region you own that is also the closest to an active chaos faction. The closest chaos faction will also determine what type of incursion happens (army composition). If there aren’t any chaos factions nearby both the incursion type and location will be random.

Scaling Incursion Threshold:

If enabled, the amount of Devotion needed to prevent an incursion is based on the number of regions you own. The bigger the empire, the bigger the area you have to safeguard from chaos. The amount of Devotion needed per region is configurable.

Incursion Cooldown:

You can now set the number of turns that must pass before another incursion is possible, after one is spawned.

Again, the default values of these settings are left at vanilla values, so if you don’t change any of the settings you won’t see much of a difference from vanilla. My recommended settings can be found in the Discussion section of this mod page. Setting changes are only applied when the campaign reloads.

This should be multiplayer compatible, so enjoy. Let me know if you have any feedback, suggestions, or issues.
