NFST Zeus modules
This mod adds some zeus and editor modules. If you use the editor modules while preparing the mission, all players will need it to join your server.
Artillery strike (zeus)
This lets zeus call in fully configurable artillery fire missions. Settings include dispersion, safe zone, delay between rounds and repetition of salvos. For the time being, only three types of shell are available, but I hope to add more in the future, and in a more modular way.
Air strike (zeus)
This module allows zeuses to call in fully configurable air strikes. Settings include plane and bomb type, number of planes and their formation, flight height and speed, ingress and egress distance and bearing. The plane and bomb selection mechanisms are fully modular, meaning that the module will show all planes you have loaded in your game, not just the vanilla ones; it will also show all bombs that are compatible with the currently selected plane, so provided that the bombs and the planes are properly configured with arma’s pylon system, they will show up in the module.
Add inventory (3den)
The "Add inventory – set destination" can work on its own. Any editor object linked to this module will have an inventory players can interact with. You can sync as many objects to a single "Add inventory – set destination" module as you want.
The "Add inventory – set source" modules requires a "Add inventory – set destination" module to work. First, place down a crate whose inventory you would like to copy paste to an object that has no inventory by default (ie a prop). Link this crate to the "Add inventory – set source module". Place down a "Add inventory – set destination", and link it to the "Add inventory – set source" module. Finally, place down the prop you want to have an inventory, and link it to the "Add inventory – set destination" module, and you’re set! Your prop will now appear to have an inventory, and will already contain the items you placed in the first crate!
Be aware that napalm bombs are unfortunately not accurately dropped as it appears they do not have any in-flight glide control ability. I am working on finding a workaround, but if you have any ideas on that matter, please share 🙂 !
The repo for this mod can be found here[github.com]. Feel free to fork it for your own usage, just make sure to mention this mod in your credits. And if you can send me a link, I’d love to see your mod!
I made this mod to make better ops and events for my arma unit, so I’m gonna shamelessly advertise my band of brothers here ^^. We’re a beginner-friendly Vietnam unit, playing as US paramarines (so slightly alt-history because that makes it more fun). We’re currently recruiting to fill up positions in our two platoons, so if you’re interested in joining, jump right in on our forum[www.91st-paramarines.com]; if you need more info first, check out our recruitment post.
Our requirements are that you have a legal copy of arma (duh) and of the SOGPF DLC, a working microphone as well as a basic level of english, a good attitude and that you are over 17 years old (though exceptions can be made).
