Alarielle the Golden
A retexture of Alarielle, with less emphasis on painted areas and more on exposed gold. The intent is to give an overall lighter, slightly more elegant feel. In addition to overall re-work, the body textures have been up-ressed to 2048.
NOTE: I’m not sure what’s up with CA’s metalness/roughness/normal lighting solution. In some battle maps (like the one I used for these screenshots) everything looks fine. In others, it’s hard to get any metal (gold in particular) to reach values much higher than black. I suspect it has to do with how environmental reflections are being derived, but as I can’t locate any cubemaps in the .pack files, I’m stumped as to what’s to be done for it. It isn’t new, though, and it affects everything. So at this point one can either tolerate it or not. I will continue to seek a solution.
