Units move faster and earn Great General points for killing units the closer they are to foreign Governors. Retiring a Great General awards two military units in the Capital.Unique Unit: Daylamite Mercenary (Replaces Nothing)
Must be purchased, but incurs no maintenance. Ignores all terrain costs, and has a chance to spawn in owned Hills tiles upon a Declaration of War. Unlocks with Iron Working.Agenda: From Oxus to Euphrates
Shapur I will strive to expand his empire by any means. He respects those who go to war, and who maintain a standing army.(The range thresholds for Shapur I’s RnF Unique Ability are three tiles away [+1 movement, +2 GGP per kill] and adjacent [+2 movement, +4 GGP per kill].)

Retiring a Great General awards two military units in the Capital.(The range thresholds for Shapur I’s Vanilla Unique Ability are five tiles away [+1 movement, +2 GGP per kill] and three tiles away [+2 movement, +4 GGP per kill].)
Only the Unique Ability changes between versions. The rest is the same.

In order for this mod to require no DLC, the leader music is set to Arabia. If you have the Persia DLC and would like Persia music:
- Navigate to Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent2890701314636674ArtDefs
- Open Leaders.artdef with a text editor.
- Change <m_Value text="Arabia"/> to <m_Value text="Persia"/>.
- Save and close.
BUG REPORTS
This mod has been bug-tested, but if you do experience any serious bugs, please provide detailed information in the pinned conversation below. Not having this information makes it harder (if not sometimes impossible) for us to figure out the cause of your issue.IMPORTANT: This is NOT compatible with Mac, at least until you guys get the latest update from Firaxis/Aspyr. The issue is caused by the fact that we’re referencing a game_effect that doesn’t exist yet on Mac.
