Description

This script allows AI to revive nearby AI units and players – and obviously heal themselves is moderately damaged.
It works in SP and MP (listen and dedicated servers)
Players can be revived in Singleplayer scenarios by AI

The script has three scope options – either:
1) AI can revive a player’s group including players or
2) AI can revive the entire player side including players or
3) AI can revive the entire player side excluding players.

If the nearest AI is in a vehicle – it may respond to downed units, dismount and revive the unit and then mount the vehicle and resume whatever it was doing before the revive. In cases where a building has a bad path lod i.e. an AI responder can’t reliably enter and exit the building where the downed unit is – it will hand over response to the nearest player.

AI responders will not necessarily drop whatever they are doing in order to heal a downed unit. It depends on how exposed to enemy fire the downed unit is and the current enemy threat condition. AI or more likely Players running into open areas where they come under heavy fire – may not be revived until the enemy threat has been neutralised.

AI and players will use lying down revive/heal animations if there are nearby enemies rather then the default kneeling revive anims.

There are a number of configurable options – see the ROS_AI_RevivescriptsROS_MonitorHealth.sqf script header for options.

Some newer features that have been added

* Blood pools are spreads under downed unit
* Blood pools are removed after a time
* Map markers for downed units (Red for incap, Black for dead)
* Added medic talk (optional): default off
* Significantly improved AI response time to revive players and team mates
* Support for AI units spawned after mission start
* Players can revive AI units
* You can switch off the moan sfx and medic / ‘patient’ inane speech
* Adjust incapacitated max time out (TTD – death)
* Allow use of smoke cover whilst healing
* Can change smoke colour if used
* Improved optional AI unstick option (in instances where AI enter buildings with broken path lod)
* Allow you to switch off custom radio messages whilst waiting to be healed
