DESCRIPTIONThe DT162 "Deimos" is a 8×8 AWD assault gun. Submitted as a tender to military contract looking for a solution to the problem of organic firepower in light infantry units. Decision was made to use the proven MTAC chassis due to logistical and cost benefits. Since the contract did not stipulate a requirement for amphibious mobility this feature was removed from the DT162 to save cost and increase the armour profile of the vehicle.
