Description:

Description
Restores several map orders from Avorion 1.3.8 that were removed in Avorion 2.0, while still working alongside the new captain missions. As of the Avorion 2.0 stable release, only stable versions are supported.

Restored Map Orders

  • Mine
  • Refine
  • Salvage
  • Loop

How To Loop
From the galaxy view, you are able to issue orders by selecting a ship and clicking an order. If you hold down the `Shift` key while clicking orders you can queue them to run one after another.

While queueing orders, if the orders have a loop in them (ie. An order later in the queue returns the ship to a sector it was in earlier in the queue), the Loop order will appear in the list of available orders.

Note that there is/was a minor bug where the Loop order does not show if all orders are in the ship’s current sector. The workaround is to add a jump order to the current sector at the end (essentially a do-nothing) which should allow the Loop order to appear.

(Optional) Configuration
If there are certain new or old orders/missions that you do not wish to see in the galaxy map, they can be shown/hidden based on settings in a config file.

The dependency AzimuthLib is required to use this filtering feature, but is not needed to just restore the old 1.0 orders.

The configuration file will be auto-generated after loading a galaxy with both AzimuthLib and 1.0 Orders and Looping enabled and is located at:

%appdata%/Avorion/moddata/1.0 Orders and Looping/1.0 Orders and Looping.lua

Disabling or removing AzimuthLib will simply cause all orders and missions to be shown again.
