IFA W50L with ORWO Film Cargo Box
Here it is, the most popular truck in east germany. It’s true. 😀 The IFA W50L was built in a land that doesnt exist anymore, called GDR (DDR), from 1965 till 1990 in over 170 variations. Yes, it’s true! 😀 A total of 571,789 vehicles of this type were built. The production took place at the VEB Automobilwerke Ludwigsfelde, but special vehicles also came from other Volksseigene Betriebe. : D Even today, the good old W50 is still to be found on many Kolchosen or as a fire engine in villages. East German quality. : D
It has a 6.56L 4 cylinder diesel engine without a supercharging with 125HP and accelerates thus to fabolous 95kmh. Yes, no ♥♥♥♥, one hundred and twenty-five hp. I’m going crazy. 😀
