Description:

"Dubbed the Helfury for ease, Manheim’s Miraculously Murderous Mechanism of Munificently Meting Multitudinous Munitions is the most recent creation of the Nuln College of Engineering to be put into active service within the armies of the Empire. Originally meant to be a dedicated anti-infantry adaptation of the Helblaster volley gun, certain innovations caused the design to come into its own in a revolutionary way. Helfury Machine Guns eschew the mechanisms of traditional crank and steam driven guns, relying instead on the excess pressure generated in the firing chambers to rotate the barrels and cool the weapon. This allows the Helfury to achieve a truly staggering rate of fire and makes it one the most devastatingly effective anti personnel war engines in the old world."

What does this mod do?
1: Adds Helfury Machine guns to the Empire unit roster (Not loreful, purely made up for fun- Affected by artillery upgrades)
-> Medium/Long range low AP infantry blender. Is very effective at quickly and reliably mulching lightly armored targets, but is significantly less efficient against armored targets (I didn’t want it to "replace" other empire ranged units).
-> Imbues Suppressed contact effect, so it can be effective in conjunction with other empire ranged units.
-> Can cause grievous friendly fire if you aren’t careful 🙂

2: Adds a tier 3 level to the Education building chain
-> Lets you recruit Helfury Machine guns (That’s really the main purpose of this building)
-> Gives earlier access to a couple of the Imperial academy campaign buffs

This is a "BETA" because the portal view doesn’t display the gatling gun component (becuase it’s technically a prop) and I’m not sure how to fix it. Its not a big issue, but it really bothers me. I may also make some additional changes and/or use this mod as a jumping off point for a more extensive unit/faction mod later on.

Let me know if there are any issues!
