Description:

This mod fixes the value relationships between cotton, fabric and hemp. In vanilla, processing cotton into fabric makes you lose money because the price of 6 cotton was far more valuable than the price of 1 fabric, due to the fabric value being tied to the hemp recipe.

With this mod, 3 cotton will make 1 fabric, and cotton has the same price as hemp. The price of fabric is now determined by cotton, not hemp. This effectively makes turning cotton into fabric a profitable task, as it should be. I made the hemp recipe require only 2 hemp instead of 3, so you can still get 33% better efficiency by using hemp instead.

Because the price of fabric is unchanged from vanilla, the price of items crafted with fabrics will not be changed at all, so I believe it’s a very clean solution to the problem. You will end up with more fabric because you’re using less materials than before, but they’re so low value that I don’t think it will be an issue at all. I also wanted to keep the price of cotton reasonable in case you just wanted to sell it without processing into fabric.
