Rie’s Challenge
This mod is best played with the Insane Weather mod.
After being enslaved by the Dust King for five years you have finally struck a deal with him. You’ll pay him 20,000 cats within seven days or die trying. He laughed and he laughed. Eventually he agreed to it. For him it’s a win, win. One less mouth to feed or 20,000 catan credits.
This is your chance at freedom! You’re at a staggering disadvantage but you’ve been through worse.
The Good news? You’ll start with a Rusted Katana and two med kits.
The Bad news? You’re a Hungry, One-Armed, Shaved Ex-Slave with a 2,000 bounty whose in debt to the tune of -20,000 cats to the Dust King.
You’re also in a weakened state with -20 in Str / Dex / Labour / Athletics and kill on sight with Starving Bandits. Even the Outlaws distrust you.
Please also change the Hunger rate to .60 and the Nest spawns to x4.
Starting in The Hub, you will now not only have to avoid bandits, increased nests and hunger but also extreme random weather conditions while trying to dig your way out of debt. Once you’ve overcome the debt and skill deficit; insane weather and the increase in nests will make sure the rest of the playthrough continues to be a challenge while you seek to dethrone the Dust King.
