Adapted map of Iraq rich in oil resources.
HOW TO PLAY: Easy to play if your only plan is to create a dysfunctional economy based only on the export of crude oil. The fun of this map is not actually in making billions but in achieving a diversified economy and securing your dictatorship by creating the largest army in the Middle East. Nobody ♥♥♥♥♥ with a nuclear power right?
WARNING: I have 0 knowledge of map editing. I have taken a height map of iraq and adapted it the best I could to be able to play it.
It only covers the central and southern part of Iraq. Borders and specific points may vary from reality. It is not to scale, so its designed to be as similar and beautiful as possible. I have tried to recreate the southern Mesopotamian marshes before their destruction by Saddam´s regime in the 1990s.

FINAL NOTES: I hope to encourage people to create more maps of African and Middle Eastern countries. Ask me if you want one of Egypt. A collection of statues and posters about the Saddam Hussein regime or Nasser’s Egypt would also be amazing. I would do it myself but I have no idea how. Same with flags (I use the green Chernarus for the moment as a fictional arab flag).
