Trajann’s Talimar, Sentinel of Destruction
Here’s the next Sentinel, Talimar!
He represents the necrosphinx, and serves as the anti-large sentinel. He’s a counter to Nyrask, who is more anti-infantry focused. Talimar is all about dealing damage and beating up beasts. His skills and abilities focus on making himself and other necrosphinx pure melee bruisers. They’re designed to take on the enemies large units and shred them to pieces. All of his bonuses focus on doing damage or making the enemy more vulnerable. He even has some potential to clear infantry, though he’s certainly more at home fighting monsters. Like my other Sentinels, he comes with his own skill dump and capstone skill, and is added to the Tomb Prince recruit pool for the 4 major Tomb Kings factions.
Talimar also brings with him a unique RoR necrophinx. Talimar’s Angel has a special ability that gives it increased melee damage if a large entity is close by, as well as a high spell resistance. This necrosphinx is the ultimate monster hunter. It unlocked at level 33 and benefits from necrosphinx tech.
That’s Talimar! The process of designing this guy was a little tricky, as I wasn’t sure what I could do to make him feel unique. But then it hit me, what’s better than 2 giant scythes? 4 giant scythes! Thus Talimar was born. Now there’s only 1 Sentinel left, the hierotitan.
