Description:
What would modern cars look like if the world was at peace?

Years after the end of the Brick Rigs Great War, weaponry has become increasingly useless. While militaries are still owned, they are only meant to handle civil disputes, and are quite small in size. If weaponry is not worth innovating, though, where did the time and money put into military equipment go?

The nations of Brick Rigs dare not start another conflict for fear of the end of the world. The scorched battlefields of the early 20th century still burn in the minds of everyone, even long after the war’s conclusion. The money that would have gone into defending the nations of the world has all been put into improving conditions of the countries, as the long battles from the war are never to be started again.

If all this cash were to go into civil engineering, roads would be one of the highest priorities. Thus, with better roads comes better safety, and a rising demand for faster cars. However, speed demons are naturally terrible on gas, since they have to spend more energy overcoming inertia and friction. In lowering fuel consumption, smaller cars dominate.

Nimble, lightweight, and only 201 bricks – The Powerline Ampere is the car of the future at peace! It is designed to be fast, reliable, and clean. It was based very heavily on the BAC Mono and the Ariel Atom, but the car also bears a Teslapunk style, which is a combination of dieselpunk and high voltage equipment. It was first coined to imagine a world in which the inventor Nikola Tesla’s visions of a world run by heavy electrical currents came true, and electricity is harmonious with a modernist fashion

Note: God mode is recommended while using this machine! Due to its small frame, high downforce, and light construction, road bounce will sever pieces from underneath the car if it occurs, or can even send the car into the air. Use the Ampere with caution, and always be aware of other drivers! Though roads are built to last longer, and have far less wear and tear, there are still hazards to keep an eye out for!
