Extended PiP Limits
Lower minimum PiP view distance
PiP View distance is very taxing, since it forces you to render things that you can’t see / don’t care about. This mod allows you to minimize the performance impact by giving you the ability to set the PiP view distance to a more reasonable value. The default of 500 meters is quite a long distance, so this mod allows values all the way down to 50 meters. The performance impact is especially noticeable when in a vehicle of any kind.
A rough idea of the performance difference can be gained from the screenshots.
This is basically a single line config tweak. Compatibility issues may arise with other mods that modify the same line, though I am not aware of any. This works client-side, server does not need the mod.
