Description:

The Chrysler Bell Victory Siren was first manufactured during WWII to warn American citizens or incoming Japanese or German air raids. A second generation model was manufactured during the early parts of the cold war, to warn of nuclear attacks. The siren is powered by a 331 cubic inch, 180 h.p. chrysler industrial engine.

Production: 1940s – mid 1950s

This example is painted in Civil Defense Yellow, and is of the second generation of its series.
